Areas being treated are marked. Anesthetic ointment or local anesthesia may be used to numb the injection sites. The injectable is then inserted into specified regions, and analyzed to see if another injection is needed. The whole process takes 15-60 minutes, depending upon the amount of areas in need of treatment. Below are the cosmetic injectables used by Aesthetics:
Dysport is an injectables used to temporarily smooth out wrinkles. It's commonly applied to the forehead to correct deep glabellar lines in-between the eyebrows. Like Botox, it contains botulinum toxin Type A, which works out wrinkles by relaxing the underlying muscles in place.
Results: Typically, they're visible 24-48 hours after the procedure but reaches its full potential in a week, and last anywhere between 3-5 months.
Restylane Lyft fillers are designed to increase volume in deep facial lines and depressed regions. They're especially effective for lifting up deep creases in the nasolabial fold. Since they're composed of hyaluronic acid—a substance found within the human body—these fillers bond naturally with water molecules in the skin.
Results: Effects last from 10 to 18 months, and become more noticeable several months after treatment.
Restylane Silk adds volume to lips, and smooths out lines around the mouth. It carries smaller hyaluronic particles than Lyft for a more precise augmentation of lip size and shape.
Results: Lip-fullness is visible two weeks after the procedure, and retains its form for 6 to 8 months.
Recovery - There is no downtime with our injectables, and normal activity can be resumed immediately. Mild swelling, bruising, numbness, or redness may occur during the first hours after the procedure, and last up to 72 hours.
